The book is Prisoner B-3087 by Alan Gratz. The book is about a Jewish boy in a city called “Kraków” (in Poland),during world war II. Most of the story is in a concentration camp because Hitler hated jewish people, which lead him to eventually discriminate against the Jewish people.
He is a Jewish boy in a city called Kraków. His parents were taken away from him, and he was forced to work in a concentration camp. He has been to 10 concentration camps where he was tortured and starved. He worked as hard as he possibly could.
My favourite part is when the boy was crazy because he was forced on to the
train, the people on that train said that they were all going to the concentration camp to be tortured and killed. Another person said they would be locked in a room where poisonous gas would be released. He was tired of working so he stood in front of the shower head and said “end my misery.” The pipes shaked, and all of a sudden water instead of gas was released. He was then full of relief.
I recommend this book for people who are interested in the events of World War II, because its full of action and drama.
