The book I’m reviewing is “And Then It Happened Book 7″ by Mark Wade.
This book is one of eleven and one of the best of all of the books, the chapters are fun to read and some chapters make you laugh non stop. There are three boys that try to do things out of this world and when they do things it doesn’t work out for them but they keep trying. My favourite part of the book is when they dress up for Hallowe’en as two undertakers and a dead man and when they get the candy and then it happened. I recommend this book to anyone who likes pranks, fun, small adventures, and cool fun ideas that make you feel like you can do it. Jivan, Grade 6 The book I'm reviewing is "The Search for Treasure" by Geronimo Stilton.
Geronimo Stilton was called to the Kingdom of Fantasy for the sixth time. He was first called as a skipper in a ship. It was really stormy that Geronimo fell in the water and found a huge rainbow bubble. He quickly dived in and a fish swam to him and told Geronimo that he would make an Ancient Gemstone prophecy come true. Coraline the headmistress of coral academy explained the rest. After that Geronimo went on the quest and met two other heroes who were supposed to fulfil the prophecy. They quickly took the royal ruby from a terrible and terrifying witch named Scorcher and took it to Shining Moon Mountain. After that they gave the royal ruby to a wise king called Azul who had the royal sapphire. My favourite part of the book is when Geronimo was in a meadow and green fairies perched on his nose all of a sudden he accidentally sneezed sending the fairies the fairies flying over the field. If you like any of the other Geronimo Stilton series then you should read this too. -- By Evelyn, Grade 6 My book is called Flora and Ulysses The illuminated Adventures By Kate Dicamillo
Flora, a 10 year old, natural born cynic and a comic book reader springs into action when her neighbor sucks up a squirrel with a vacuum cleaner. The vacuum cleaner caused the squirrel to get superpowers. Flora explains to Ulysses (the squirrel) that he must only use his superpowers to fight injustice, or something. Flora's mother Phyllis Buckman thinks talking to a squirrel is a sign that there something wrong with her and decided to kill Ulysses for Flora's own good. Meanwhile Flora, Ulysses and Flora's father George Buckman who seems to never smile since the divorce with Flora's mother head out and finds themselves on a adventure involving a attack cat, giant donuts, poetry, jelly sandwiches, a boy struck blind and a doctor who tells stories of hope and uncertain mysteries. My favorite part was the poem Ulysses wrote to Flora using the words from the adventures they had together because I thought it was a very sweet and a amazing poem. I'd recommend this book to anyone who likes adventure and humor. -- Korinna, Grade 6 My book review is on Gordan Korman's "Island Book 2".
Island is an action and adventure book. 6 kids get stranded on a deserted island that was once a secrett navy base. two are missing. one guy goes crazy and runs off into the forest. They run into many obstacles like:
I recommend this book to people who like to read action/adventure stories. |
